KEY EXECUTIVES
Aurelio
“Reli” L. German
Chairman
Having held top
executive positions that call for wide ranging expertise in advertising, sales
promotion, and public relations, Reli is one of a very elite few who personify
excellence and full-rounded experience in all aspects of marketing
communications
As president of a
full-service PR and promotions agency, Reli holds the added advantage of being
able to view and evaluate marketing strategies from the perspective of a
client. This comes from his having served in the top corporate ladder of
companies engaged in manufacturing, marketing, personnel services, broadcast
media and newspaper publishing. His credentials include being a former
columnist in three newspapers, two of them business publications.
Reli was drafted
into government service starting the mid-1980s when then President Corazon
Aquino designated him as head of the Bureau of the National and Foreign
Information. The President later appointed him as General Manager and Vice
Chairman of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
These positions
provided him a wide avenue to develop close ties with influential personalities
in both the Executive and Legislative branches of the government. He has
maintained such relationships in succeeding administrations. This makes him
virtually unequalled in the Government Relations aspect of PR. It also enabled
him to develop and sharpen skills as a consummate political strategist, such
that he was a major participant in the campaigns and eventual election of four
Philippine presidents.
Nilo
B. Barberan
Executive Vice
President, Associate
Nilo joined Agents
International, Inc. in 1996 and has now accumulated more than three decades of
experience in the allied arenas of advertising, public relations, publicity and
journalism.
Before Agents, he
had worked in the Creative/Editorial Services departments and Account
Management groups of six advertising and public relations firms. He started out
as Copywriter and worked his way up to become Copy Chief, Account Group Head,
Public Relations Director and Vice President for Account Management. He had
also managed for several years an agency that offered cinema advertising
services.
His very first
experience in the communications arena came about when he worked as news writer
in the Public Information Office of the Department of Finance, a government
agency. This service in the government was later complemented when he became PR
assistant of a senator and then as a PR and Public Affairs consultant of a
congressman.
Nilo served as
editor-in-chief and columnist of a provincial newspaper for three years, and of
a tabloid publication in Makati City for two years. He has also written columns
in two Manila-based national newspapers of national circulation.
Angelo
“Alan” S. German

Alan has become one
of the most recognizable and established individuals in Philippine PR, with
special emphasis on branding, consumer engagement, and crisis management.
The youngest son of
renowned PR Guru Reli German, Alan is the capable successor of his father’s
practice, in his current capacity as Managing Director of Agents International,
Inc.
His background in
mathematics, economics, investment management, and private banking prior to
stepping into the PR fray has proven to be the key differentiator for many
clients. His unique ability to formulate the most remarkable PR campaigns have
garnered him both industry awards and the respect of his peers. While his reputation may often precede him,
it is one that is certainly well-deserved.
In Agents, Alan
currently handles key accounts for corporate, political, and institutional
clients.
